Neurodiversity + Design
Research indicates that companies that hire for neurodiversity are more profitable AND more innovative. I’ve been mentoring students who self-identify as neurodivergent, whether that is autism, ADHD, dyslexia or a combination. I am consistently impressed with skills they bring to their work and the lens through which they solve problems. I am specifically interested in how the design industry can evolve to both embrace and nurture neurodiverse talent.
